Description

The Defense Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for an Associate Industrial Security Coordinator to work in our Bridgewater, Virginia office.

This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Industrial Security Program mission with ensuring company and customer security requirements are met.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and work with minimal direction both independently and as part of a team to execute our cleared facility requirements.

Primary Responsibilities.
-Execute security programs for personnel, physical, industrial, and information systems in support of collateral and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) activities.
-Administer processes to obtain and maintain Facility Clearance Levels and Personnel Clearance Levels (PCL); perform maintenance of applicable security databases to accurately reflect statuses.
-Manage personnel security program by accomplishing, reviewing, approving, and submitted collateral, SCI and Special Access Program nomination packages in accordance with contractual requirements.
-Advise cleared personnel of their reporting requirements to include both personal/administrative and compliance/incident-related reports.
-Review and manage PCL records on and reports from Cognizant Security Agency's designated database.
-Conduct security clearance access briefings/debriefings of cleared personnel, as required.
-Administer a security education and awareness program to indoctrinate new personnel and advise personnel of the adverse effects to national security that could result from unauthorized disclosure.
-Maintain appropriate government documentation for designated classified areas.
-Execute document control security by safeguarding classified material in accordance with government publications and through coordination with government agencies.
-Contribute to security program self-assessments, clean desk audits, and government visits/assessments.
-Carry out facility access controls, e.g. badging personnel, assigning accesses and validating visitors, and escorting.
-Perform other security-related responsibilities, as needed.

Basic Qualifications.
-High school diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years of relevant experience required.
-Must have the ability to build rapport, create a harmonious working environment, and display professional demeanor while valuing differences.
-Abel to write and speak in a clear, concise, effective manner to a wide variety of audiences, including writing complex reports and displaying active listening skills.
-An active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications.
-Previous experience supporting government contracts.
-Working knowledge of Department of Defense and Intelligence Community Directives, DISS, eApp, NISS, SIMS and ACCS.
-Accreditation/certification in personnel, industrial, and/or physical security (ISP, FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities, etc.)

Pay Range:
Pay Range $38,350.00 - $69,325.00
