Medical Scheduling Trainer
Contract-to-Hire | Full-Time | On-Site
Key Responsibilities
Education & Training Support
- Coordinate and support staff education, orientation, and competency programs.
- Assist with scheduling, tracking, and documenting required education, in‑services, and training sessions.
- Support onboarding activities for new hires related to education and training requirements.
Records & Compliance
- Maintain accurate education and training records in learning management systems and employee files.
- Track completion of mandatory education and follow up on outstanding requirements.
- Support compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulatory standards related to staff education.
Coordination & Communication
- Serve as a point of contact for staff and leaders regarding education requirements and schedules.
- Communicate education updates, deadlines, and requirements to departments.
- Collaborate with educators, department leaders, Human Resources, and other stakeholders to ensure training needs are met.
Administrative & Reporting Support
- Prepare reports related to education completion, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Assist with preparation for surveys, audits, and inspections related to staff education.
- Maintain organized files, databases, and documentation for education activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous lead, educator, or training coordination experience.
- Strong proficiency in EPIC Cadence (scheduling module).
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems, databases, and learning management systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with both clinical and non‑clinical staff.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesapeake, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
