Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The RN will coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and ensure the highest standards of patient safety. This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Ensure the highest standards of patient safety and care excellence.
  • Utilize strong clinical judgment in various medical situations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
  • Participate in patient triage and maintain accurate medical records.
Essential Skills
  • 2 years of experience in Orthopedic, OR, or ORTHO.
  • Current RN license in VA.
  • BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.
  • Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Work Environment

The work environment includes 2 operating rooms with a patient ratio of 1:1. The unit is supported by circulator/scrub and assistant staff, utilizing paper charting for documentation. The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 0645 to 1515, with case volume affecting end-of-day times. There is flexibility to float to other centers within the division/area. The patient experience focuses on ORTHO SPORTS, TOTAL JOINTS, SPINE, PODIATRY, and HANDS. The center specializes in ORTHO SPINE, with a heavy case load in total joint replacement and sports procedures. The workplace is collaborative, with a strong sense of camaraderie among nurses, techs, and physicians.

This is a Contract position based out of Dulles, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $87.00 - $87.00/hr.
