Title: Data Center Technician

Location: Northern, VA

Duration: 12-month contract

Rate: $19+ an hour (Competitive hourly pay, varies by location)

Job Summary:
This role supports the operation and maintenance of large-scale, mission-critical data center environments that power modern digital services. As a Data Center Technician, you will participate in a structured 12-month program that combines hands-on technical experience with formal training.

You will work alongside experienced engineers, operations professionals, and technical specialists to install, maintain, and troubleshoot server, storage, and network hardware. Responsibilities include equipment racking and cabling, hardware break/fix, responding to operational incidents, and supporting scheduled maintenance activities.

The role requires strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in physically demanding, 24/7 operational environments. Successful completion of the program includes meeting training milestones, earning required safety and technical certifications, and demonstrating consistent performance in a production data center setting.

Job Requirements:

• Hands-on hardware experience, including building or repairing PCs and working directly with technology components

• MUST HAVE A PERSONAL VEHICLE

• MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN AND BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A PASSPORT

• Fundamental knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and basic networking concepts

• One or more of the following credentials or educational backgrounds:

  • Google IT Support Certificate

  • CompTIA A+ certification

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
