Description
Outbound selling motion where they are calling out to MailChimp customers already engaged on our platform and doing outreach in hopes of getting them to upgrade or move from a free account to paid account.
Responsible for calling out to current and potential customers looking to qualify and schedule them to meet with an Account Executive. As the first line of communication with prospects and current customers, ideal candidates have a strong understanding of the sales process, starting new relationships, and setting our Account Executives up for success.
Own initial discovery conversations with prospective customers.
Dissect and qualify prospects' business goals to determine if Mailchimp can be a strategic investment for their business' growth.
Translate Mailchimp’s features into benefits for the customer .
Offer competitive insights as to why Mailchimp is, or is not, a good fit for each prospective customer’s needs.
Meet /exceed defined productivity and quality metrics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
MUST HAVE 3+ years outbound sales experience, Cold calling, prospecting. They are talking to people who already have a solution in place and are happy with it, the tenacity and being able to pivot is going to be important.
Tech savviness and ability to maneuver through systems and adapt quickly.
Working knowledge of Salesforce goes a really long way.
Outreach, knowing how to use a dialer.
Important to have diverse BG when it comes to industries they have worked in.
Used to things changing. They are currently structured like a start up within a corporation and things are changing all the time. They are innovating, fixing plane while flying it.
