The Installation Technician is responsible for wiring electrical components and control panels. This role ensures all wiring is installed according to engineering schematics, quality standards, and safety regulations to support the efficient operations of our cooling systems.
Responsibilities- Install, route, and connect panels, motors, sensors, and other system components.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
- Perform wiring terminations including crimping, stripping, and soldering as required.
- Inspect and test electrical connections for accuracy, functionality, and safety compliance.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of electrical components and tools.
- Ensure compliance with company manufacturing standards, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as multimeters.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or wiring issues to the maintenance team.
- Work closely with production team members, engineers, and supervisors to meet daily manufacturing targets.
- Communicate effectively regarding material needs, work progress, and potential issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience with installation and assembly using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly and installation.
- Strong understanding of electrical wiring schematics.
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Attention to detail for ensuring quality and safety compliance.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.53 - $25.03/hr.
