Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Supervisor

Job Description

The Quality Supervisor leads quality assurance and control efforts to ensure products meet established standards for safety, consistency, and customer satisfaction. This role oversees a quality team, resolves quality issues, partners with operations and other departments, and drives continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the quality team to maintain consistent product quality.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct process audits and inspections across production operations.
• Investigate quality issues using root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with operations, production, and leadership to improve processes.
• Analyze quality data and report trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Train and mentor team members on quality standards and best practices.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and standards such as ISO.
• Ability to lead teams and promote a culture of quality and accountability.
• Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset toward continuous improvement.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with quality management, quality control, supplier quality, and quality engineering.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 2015 standards.
• Knowledge of quality inspection, supervision, and quality management systems.
• Understanding of PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycles.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lexington, VA.

The pay range for this position is $89475.00 - $134213.00/yr.
