TekSystems is currently hiring for an Administrative Assistant in the Mannassas VA area!
MUST HAVE: Accounts payables experience, purchase orders experience, and 2 plus years of admin experience.
Description
This individual will be supporting their Procurement and Operating teams, managing their Vendor Support. They will be taking the Vendors that have been approved for work to be done, and they will enter the requisitions for this work. They will create the requisitions against projects that have been approved, and then create the Purchase Orders/POs.
Then they deal with the back end. When the invoices for these come in, they don't match up and this person will be researching the invoices to match them up against the POs. Vendors will say they have received payments, and they need to look into their GHX systems to verify if they have been paid. If they haven't then push it to get paid, or if they have, match the payments up to the invoice.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience with Accounts Payable, Purchase Orders within any industry.
2+ years in this sort of setting
