A day in the role…

·       Monitoring and resolving credit status assigned in work que

·      Analyzing patient accounts, confirming reoccurring charges and verifying that payment from payer and the patient are accurate

·      Analyzes account to determine credit reason

·      Utilizes payer remits, payer websites, the billing system and other resources to determine the reason and action required

·      Ensures, correct primary and secondary payments are on file

·      Updates insurance information based on new information obtained and requests claim submission for new payer

·      Enters and applies adjustments for up to $1,000

·      Submits requests for adjustments for $1,000+

·      Working approximately 40 accounts per day

Core Experience:

·      2+ years of Credit Experience

·      Strong understanding of Coordination of Benefits

·      Hospital billin
