Job Description: Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical and electronic systems across our facility. You will play a critical part in maintaining equipment reliability, troubleshooting issues, and supporting continuous operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Begin each day with a safety briefing and conduct facility rounds to inspect machinery.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic controls for equipment such as pumps, cranes, and other heavy industrial machinery.
- Balance electrical loads, wire complex circuits, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize diagnostic tools (e.g., oscilloscopes) to test and verify system performance.
- Interpret and apply electrical schematics, drawings, and specifications to guide maintenance activities.
Required Skills
- Strong troubleshooting abilities in industrial electrical systems.
- PLC troubleshooting and maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in wiring, schematic interpretation, and electrical controls.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred (not mandatory).
- 3–5 years of experience in heavy industrial electrical maintenance.
- Solid understanding of shop mathematics, technical drawings, and precision measuring instruments.
- Intermediate knowledge of AC/DC motor theory and PLC-based troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70E standards and high-voltage power systems.
- Skilled in the use of electrical maintenance hand tools.

This is a Permanent position based out of North Dinwiddie, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $82450.00 - $82450.00/yr.
