Job Title: General Laborer
Job Description
Join our team as a General Laborer and contribute to a major highway expansion project. Your role will involve site preparation and cleanup, assisting equipment operators, supporting general construction tasks, and handling tools and equipment effectively.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and clean up construction sites by clearing debris and organizing materials.
- Assist equipment operators by communicating clearly and guiding machinery movements.
- Support construction tasks such as digging, grading, and moving materials as instructed by supervisors.
- Handle hand and power tools safely and effectively for basic construction tasks.
Essential Skills
- General labor experience
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to use tape measures
- Experience in construction, particularly grading and highway construction
- Comfortable working around heavy equipment and traffic
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with concrete and carpentry is advantageous
- Ability to work safely around traffic and machinery
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and attend required training

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
