Software Engineer

Description

Leidos has an opening for a React/Typescript and Java Software Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your skills to build an AI enabled intelligence analysis and planning system. This project will utilize tools like Flowise to build AI agents and will build a data lake to host both structured and unstructured data from a diverse set of providers.

This position is 100% remote.

This posting is for multiple opportunities ranging in years of experience. Level of opportunity, including compensation, will be matched to a candidate's experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work will consist of a range of project tasks to include:
  • Develop and maintain web application.
  • Develop and maintain Java services.
  • AI prompt engineering.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct peer code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.
• Provide constructive feedback to team members and incorporate feedback into your own work.
• Identify and implement solutions to improve system reliability and user experience.
• Provide assistance and support for less experienced team members.
• Participate in Agile software development lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ - 8+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 2+ or 6+ years of experience as a minimum qualification. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Experience in one or both of React/Typescript or Java.
• Demonstrated experience developing software total, using Java, Typescript, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience developing within an agile team.
• Experience working with GIT.
• Demonstrated experience developing and utilizing REST AP.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with React Query (TanStack).
• Experience with AI Prompt engineering, especially tools like Flowise.
• Strong CSS understanding.
• Experience with both Typescript and Java.
• Develop applications for Kubernetes and use of Fleet.
• MongoDB.
• Ansible.
• Analytic Development.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
