What You Will Do:

Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity in our Defense and Security Segment, in support of a DoD/ Intelligence community client. Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing and defining security requirements for applications and systems across all technology layers
  • Gathering and organizing technical information about an organization's mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs in cybersecurity
  • Performing assessment and risk analyses of systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle.
  • Acting as Cybersecurity Consultant
  • Leading the planning, execution and reporting of security audits and network vulnerability assessments with minimal supervision
  • Performing interviews, examinations, and testing of security controls
  • Assisting in preparation of assessment deliverables – Security Control Assessment Report, Security Risk Assessments, etc.
  • Planning, executing and reporting on information technology, privacy, - and operational reviews in order to identify mission, privacy, security, compliance, information technology and regulatory risks
  • This position is 100% onsite at client location with limited telework options.


What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET/SCI federal security clearance with a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • EIGHT (8) or more years' experience in cybersecurity or information assurance
  • A CURRENT DoD 8570 IAT III level certification (i.e. CISSP, CISA, CASP etc.)


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Master’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience supporting the federal government and/or government consulting
