Engineering Technician


Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Engineering Technician responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot machinery effectively.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all machinery and equipment are running smoothly.
  • Read and interpret new equipment/product diagrams.
  • Troubleshoot machinery in plant operations.
  • Monitor production and document processes in compliance with GMP standards.

Essential Skills:

  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of electronics
  • Experience in chemical production or pharmaceutical manufacturing

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering or 2-3 years of experience in chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Exposure to APIs is a plus

Work Environment:

The work environment involves working with teams of four supervisors and a team of technicians. The role requires working four 12-hour shifts in a 2, 3, 2 pattern, with alternating day and night shifts every five weeks. Training will initially occur on the day shift for the first few months.
