Transport Engineer

Description

Our client is looking for a Transport Engineer to support their large build plans on their wireless team. This will include initiatives such as Spectrum Upgrades, Equipment Swaps, and overall New Builds. While a technical background is important especially with Circuit and Fiber Provisioning, this role has a lot of Project Management duties to include standardization of workflow for processes/procedures, extracting and evaluating data, data processing, and order with TELCO Vendors across the footprint. This would include creating assignments, building pathways, and coordinating with various internal and external teams through the finish.

Very Database and administration heavy. Need to have experience with Granite, CND or NetCracker.

Top Skills Details

1) Very strong experience and understanding of transport design/workflow to include fiber and circuit provisioning (Granite/CND experience preferred).

2) 5+ years of experience performing internal and external coordination for telecommunication deployments specific to transport/circuit and equipment engineering.

3) Knowledge/experience with site prioritization, logistics, materials delivery, invoice/PO tracking, etc.
