We are seeking a Security Monitor to support a large facility maintenance program management team. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Custodial and Security Monitor Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of custodial services and security monitoring activities within our facility or premises. The Supervisor will lead a team of custodians and security personnel, ensuring a clean, safe, and secure environment for all occupants. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Pay Range:
Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00

Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the work of custodial staff and security monitors, ensuring tasks are completed in accordance with established standards.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members, ensuring they are well-prepared to handle their duties.
- Assign tasks and manage daily work schedules for custodial and security staff, ensuring proper coverage during all shifts.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and recommend improvements to team members as needed.
- Oversee the custodial cleaning operations within the facility, ensuring that all areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
- Ensure that cleaning tasks are completed on time and in compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Inspect work areas regularly to ensure that cleaning standards are met and to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and ensure that necessary resources are available for staff.
- Oversee security monitoring operations to ensure the safety and security of the facility, including the proper use of surveillance systems and access control.
- Supervise security personnel, ensuring they are vigilant and properly trained to respond to security threats and emergencies.
- Monitor security protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Ensure timely response to security incidents, including alarms, disturbances, and unauthorized access.
- Work closely with facility management and other departments to ensure operational coordination between custodial and security teams.
- Serve as the point of contact for any custodial or security-related concerns from staff, tenants, or visitors.
- Prepare and present reports on facility conditions, security activities, incidents, and any improvements needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with staff, visitors, and external contractors as necessary.
- Ensure that custodial and security personnel are trained in emergency response protocols for situations such as fires, medical emergencies, or security breaches.
- Act as a lead during emergencies, directing custodial and security staff as required to mitigate risks and resolve situations.
- Regularly conduct drills, inspections, and safety audits to ensure preparedness.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations related to both custodial operations and security practices.
- Ensure that all custodial and security staff comply with company policies, security protocols, and local laws.
- TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
- Ensuring the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities consistent with requirements of organizational efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
- Duties may include provides counsel to company and/or vendor representatives coordinating major facility constructions or modifications or leasing and real estate activities, assessing and evaluating the physical space requirements of the organization and recommends plans to meet needs, and ensuring proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance.
- Planning and allocation of office space for all locations, developing long-range plans to meet future office space needs, and ensuring compliance with approved standards and policies relating to facilities and furnishings.
- Responsible for leading operations within an area that has direct impact on results for the job family. Responsible for training, delegating and reviewing the work of employees in entire work stream.
- Resolves complex problems and issues faced, which may require complete understanding of broader set of issues. Problems span a range of issues or areas. Problems are solved using prior experiences as well as organizational knowledge.
- Communicates with contacts typically within and outside the function on matters to obtain or provide information on matters of significant importance to the organization.
- Has complete understanding of all aspects of the job and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. Requires expert knowledge in specialized functions.
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Certification in facility management, security operations, or health and safety (such as OSHA 30-hour or CPR/First Aid certification).
- Experience with fire safety and emergency response.
- Previous experience working in a government, educational, or industrial facility.
