Job Title: Member Service Representative (MSR) - Contact Center


Job Description

Respond to inquiries and requests from members within a high-volume, schedule-driven, and structured contact center environment. Provide information about products and services with a focus on knowledge, active listening, and adaptable engagement methods to ensure optimal member experience and customer service. Perform transactions related to savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, IRAs, and other accounts, while advising members on other products and services that may meet their needs.


Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries and requests from members within a high-volume contact center.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of products and services.
  • Perform transactions related to savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, IRAs, and other accounts.
  • Advise members on other products and services that may meet their needs.
  • Engage in positive member interactions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Skills

  • Customer service experience.
  • Data entry skills.
  • Experience handling inbound and outbound calls.
  • Knowledge of call center operations.
  • Ability to comply with policies in a structured environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in call centers, administrative roles, secretary/receptionist positions, banking/mortgage environments, or high-volume retail settings.

Work Environment

These are remote opportunities with the requirement that candidates live within 60 miles of Suite 250, Virginia Beach, VA. The contact center operates 24/7/365 to accommodate members globally. Shifts are flexible, allowing start and end times to vary within a one-hour window, and scheduled breaks must be adhered to. The position involves taking back-to-back calls for extended periods.


Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
