We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent to oversee construction projects located between Joint Base Little Creek and Oceana Naval Base. The projects include excavation and site work, various interior renovations, and a SCIF build-out. The Superintendent will manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of these projects, ensuring quality standards are upheld and progress is effectively communicated in meetings.
Responsibilities- Oversee construction projects, including excavation and site work, interior renovations, and SCIF build-out.
- Manage day-to-day operations and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Review project scope and maintain quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate project progress and updates during meetings.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of previous federal construction experience.
- OSHA 30 certification is required.
- US Citizenship is mandatory.
- Experience in government contracting.
- QCM certification and EM385-1-1 certification are advantageous.
- Any additional federal construction certifications are beneficial.
This role requires on-site work at either Joint Base Little Creek or Oceana Naval Base. The position offers the opportunity to join a Small Business General Contractor in the Federal Government space, providing longevity and the potential for involvement in multi-year programs and multiple MATOC awards over the next five years.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52.88 - $62.50/hr.
