Job Title: Executive Assistant to the CEO
Position Summary:
The Executive Assistant to the CEO provides high-level, multifaceted administrative and strategic support to the Chief Executive Officer. This dynamic role blends executive coordination, project management, external relations, and communication responsibilities in support of the CEO’s vision and leadership initiatives. The ideal candidate is poised, proactive, detail-oriented, and mission-aligned, with a deep understanding of holistic and spiritual values.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the CEO’s complex calendar, including scheduling meetings, coordinating logistics, preparing materials, and taking detailed meeting minutes.
- Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, including the Board of Trustees, directors, staff, and members.
- Represent the CEO in interactions with visitors, partners, and members, ensuring a welcoming, professional experience.
- Collaborate with the marketing and public relations team on media outreach and engagement strategy; draft press releases, statements, and other communications as needed.
- Support the coordination of podcasts, video broadcasts, and other public appearances; contribute to media planning and serve as an associate producer for CEO-led content and events.
- Participate in the development of conference and event content, identifying and coordinating guest speakers and thought leaders.
- Partner with the Office of Philanthropy to support donor relations and special engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate city-wide partnerships and special projects with the City of Virginia Beach, including tourism and economic development efforts.
- Lead and support special initiatives through the Office of the CEO, such as the Edgar Cayce Scholarship Program and Home Study Research Project.
- Contribute to the organization’s budgeting process and financial review in collaboration with the finance team.
- Provide administrative support to other directors and departments at the discretion of the CEO.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma and completion of a business program or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive administrative experience, including 2+ years supporting a CEO, Executive Director, or senior executive.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex schedules and multiple projects with discretion and professionalism.
Compensation:$75000
