Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Plant Manager to oversee production operations, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards. The role involves developing and implementing production plans aligned with company goals, managing all aspects of the manufacturing plant, and improving production efficiency and cost reduction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans that align with company goals and objectives.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of the manufacturing plant, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety.
• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage and develop a team of production staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure production goals are aligned with overall company objectives.
• Continually assess production flow and make required changes based on product mix and personnel to maximize efficiency using sustainable tools such as Lean.
• Hold supervisors and leads accountable for department output and efficiency.
• Manage materials by reviewing weekly counts and ensuring high lead-time materials are monitored by department leads and supervisors.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations on direct reports.
• Maintain and propose KPIs to improve business performance centered around safety, quality, efficiency, and cost controls.

Essential Skills

• Strong manufacturing experience with units designed to order.
• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Plant Manager or similar role.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and implement production plans and strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

• Technical grounding through formal training or specific experience.
