Aerospace Assembler & Fabrication Technician

Locations & Shifts:

  • Arlington: 1st Shift: Mon–Thu, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Mon–Thu, 4:30 PM–3:30 AM
  • Monroe: 1st Shift: Mon–Fri, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM

Responsibilities – Assembler

  • Assemble units, parts, and components according to blueprints and specifications using hand and power tools.
  • Bolt, screw, or rivet accessories to fasten and support components.
  • Drill holes and attach brackets, hinges, or clips for secure installations.
  • Locate and mark reference points using jigs, templates, and measuring instruments.
  • Inspect and test installed units for fit, performance, and compliance.
  • Position and align subassemblies in jigs or fixtures following blueprint lines.
  • Cut, trim, and file parts to verify fitting tolerances.
  • Install bushings using liquid nitrogen or presses.
  • Apply sealants or paint per customer specifications using proper safety devices.
  • Operate shop equipment such as C-squeeze, arbor presses, cherry pullers, and other hand tools.

Responsibilities – Fabrication Technician

  • Fabricate aerospace parts using hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.
  • Cut, form, bend, and straighten metal using hammers, saws, and grinders.
  • Operate shrinker/stretcher, arbor press, stretch form, router, shear, brake press, and hot joggle.
  • Inspect first part run and ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Read and interpret manufacturing drawings accurately.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment.

Essential Skills

  • Level 1: Minimum 6 months assembly experience
  • Level 2: 1 year assembly experience
  • Level 3: 3 years assembly experience
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions
  • Basic math skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows

Preferred Qualifications

  • Aerospace assembly experience
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with wiring, electrical, and electronic assembly
  • Ability to work on an assembly line

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
