Aerospace Assembly Technician – Weekend Shift

About the Role

We’re looking for skilled Aerospace Assembly Technicians to support production within our expanding manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll contribute directly to programs for major Aerospace and Defense customers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Prepare tools, materials, and components needed for each build.
  • Perform precision assembly of aerospace parts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed assemblies to verify they meet internal and customer standards.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and correct assembly issues or defects as they arise.
  • Maintain a tidy, safe, and well-organized workspace.
  • Consistently follow all safety practices and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous aerospace assembly background (5+ years strongly preferred).
  • High attention to detail and strong manual dexterity.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical assembly concepts and tooling.
  • Good coordination, stamina, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with a range of hand and power tools.
  • Familiarity with riveting, countersinking, and related structural assembly processes.
  • Knowledge of general manufacturing or production assembly methods.

Work Environment

This position operates within an aerospace fabrication and assembly setting. You’ll work with various tools such as pneumatic drills, hand drills, rivet guns, arbor presses, brackets, and deburring tools. The role involves following Boeing engineering drawings to produce high-quality interior aircraft components.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
