We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembly Technician who will be responsible for performing simple production assembly tasks. This role involves part marking, utilizing an ERP system for documentation, managing shipping, receiving, and inventory control within a designated cell, and processing work within set performance and delivery requirements. This position requires active participation in a team-oriented environment, supporting departmental and personal goals, and embodying proper work ethics and behaviors.
Responsibilities- Perform simple production assembly and part marking activities.
- Utilize ERP system to document work movement and completion transactions.
- Conduct shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions within the cell.
- Receive material and product, verifying correct items, quantity, quality, and documentation.
- Prepare orders for delivery to other departments or customers.
- Allocate material to work centers and pick/pull parts from inventory.
- Receive component parts into the department and enter them into inventory.
- Meet established productivity standards and follow job priority instructions.
- Communicate production delays and problems to appropriate supervision.
- Support team members to achieve company, departmental, and personal goals.
- Participate in team and company meetings and role model proper work ethics.
- Achieve mentor certification and instruct Program Participants on processing work.
- Proficiency in hand tools and power tools.
- Experience with mechanical assembly, riveting, countersinking, and working with adhesives.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Level 2: Troubleshooting process-related problems, verifying production conformance, and providing training on specific processes.
- Level 3: Inspection experience with calipers, performing cycle counts, and cross-training in all areas of the Clamp Block cell.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment offers two shift options: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday or 3:25 p.m. - 1:55 a.m. Monday-Thursday. This role is within a supportive and inclusive team culture, focusing on providing opportunities for growth and development.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
