Job Description
As a tech-savvy Inventory & Systems Specialist, you will bridge the gap between physical logistics and digital data management. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional who can seamlessly balance dynamic material handling with precise data entry in SAP ERP and Excel. You won't just "pick" items; you will manage the lifecycle of materials across virtual and physical sites, identifying process inefficiencies and contributing to SOP improvements. This is a dynamic opportunity to leverage your technical skills in a high-growth environment that offers a clear path from $28/hr to $32/hr up on direct hire, with future career tracks in kitting, shipping, and transportation management.
Responsibilities
- Handle materials accurately and efficiently for production and manufacturing teams.
- Utilize SAP ERP, Excel, and proprietary software systems for material transactions.
- Document and report system issues and process inefficiencies.
- Manage physical and virtual material movements between sites.
- Support team training and development initiatives.
- Maintain safety, productivity, and quality standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand carts, and forklifts if certified.
- Contribute to SOP improvements and safety procedures.
Top Skills
- Excel-sum functions, hash marks, applying filters, formatting, multiply one cell by another
- SAP-6 months or more (They use Oracle at Amazon)
- Inventory, Pallet Jack, make sure to explain as a warehouse job with using a computer to “pick” things from a list. It’s “picking” with a possibility or being moved to kitting and in the future shipping and receiving, or even transportation.
Essential Skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for up to 10 hours a day.
- Flexible to work shift assignments, including weekends.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Excel.
- Proficiency in using SAP or similar inventory systems.
- Fluency in English for safety and communication requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Forklift certification.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Experience with SAP or similar inventory systems.

Work Environment
This is a full-time warehouse position requiring continuous movement throughout the day. The role combines physical material handling with computer system usage, with approximately 80% of time spent on warehouse duties and 20% on computer tasks. The environment involves working with inventory, kitting, and using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Shift opportunities are available, including night and day shifts, with adjustments in start times expected in August.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
