Job Title: Assembly
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembler to join our team. The role requires you to prepare, process, wind, clean, install, assemble, rework, calibrate, test, solder, and inspect products at various stages of assembly, from component level to final product. You will work from prints, drawings, method sheets, diagrams, or other specifications in accordance with established assembly procedures, standard work, and DBS processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, process, wind, clean, install, assemble, rework, calibrate, test, solder, and inspect product at different stages of assembly from component to final.
- Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment, machines, and tools using process documents, diagrams, and written instructions to support production goals.
- Produce set-ups and adjustment holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
- Collect, analyze, and report data from production processes requiring basic mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Count, sort, label, and package assembled materials.
- Disassemble, re-work, and test materials as necessary.
- Participate in continuous improvement and DBS processes as appropriate.
Essential Skills
- Troubleshooting experience from school or hands-on work.
- Understanding of basic metrology concepts.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs routinely.
- Meticulous attitude and ability to work well in a team setting.
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn and succeed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associates in Science with a focus in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- BS in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or other technical degree.
- Experience with operating machines and control panels.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to use standard hand tools including torque wrenches.
- Understanding of drawings and work instructions.
- Ability to operate overhead hoists and rigging.
- Experience troubleshooting electronic test equipment.
- 6 months of experience using automated test systems.
- Experience with thermal imaging, infrared devices, acoustic imaging devices, and pressure devices.
- Soldering experience.
- ISO knowledge.
Work Environment
The work environment offers flexibility in shift start times, with training at 7am. After training, the candidate may choose to continue with a 7am start or switch to a 5am start. There is an option to work four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days, depending on preference.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
