Job Description
Join a dynamic team in a prominent manufacturing environment, specializing in producing fresh label soups for leading companies. As a Case Packer, you will be responsible for packaging, labeling, and palletizing products to ensure smooth production processes.
Responsibilities
- Package and label soups, ensuring all products are accurately prepared for shipment.
- Palletize boxes, with each weighing up to 30 lbs, and ensure safe handling and storage.
- Conduct chemical cleaning within the assigned area both during daily operations and as needed.
- Monitor and ensure the smooth operation of machine packaging, addressing any issues promptly.
- Escalate acute and chronic machine and organizational issues to the Line Specialist or Lead when required.
- Support line operation documentation by completing necessary tasks and documentation in a timely manner.
- Contribute to new initiatives by providing feedback, writing, and training others on procedures, and adopting new tasks.
- Maintain and manage assigned tools effectively.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills
- General labor and packing experience.
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and palletizing.
- Ability to maintain production batch records and execute picking tasks efficiently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Availability to work overtime and weekends on a seasonal basis.
- Self-driven with problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
- Passion for food and willingness to handle challenging situations with patience and respect.

Work Environment
Work in a food production setting where PPE, such as hair nets, bump caps, ear plugs, gloves, and goggles, must be worn. Employees are required to provide their own steel-toed shoes. The facility maintains a cold environment at 45 degrees, ensuring product quality and safety.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
