Assembly Technician
Location: Issaquah, WA
Pay: $20-23/hr, based on experience
Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM M-F
Job Description
The Assembly Technician will measure products pulled for assembly, perform visual inspections, clean roller balls, and take internal clearance measurements. Responsibilities include part marking with chemical or laser etching equipment, delivering finished products for quality verification or shipment, completing inspection reports, and performing basic math to ensure product specifications are met. The technician will read and interpret documents such as drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Responsibilities
- Measure and inspect products pulled for assembly.
- Perform visual inspections and clean roller balls.
- Take internal clearance measurements.
- Mark parts using chemical or laser etching equipment.
- Deliver finished products for quality verification or shipment.
- Complete inspection reports and shop travelers.
- Perform basic math operations to ensure product specifications are met.
- Read and interpret technical documents, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools.
- Mechanical aptitude and assembly skills.
- Experience in manufacturing processes and operations.
- Ability to frequently lift 25 lbs and occasionally lift 70 lbs.
- Finger dexterity.
- Skill in reading drawings, safety rules, and operating instructions.
- Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers.
- Blueprint reading.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bearing assembly experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
