Job Description
Join our team as an Inventory Planner III and be part of a dynamic role that blends analytics with physical inventory management. In this position, you will work Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm with potential changes in schedule and occasional weekend work, requiring flexibility. The role involves managing metrics, generating daily reports, and executing product resolution tasks. You will engage in deep-dive investigations, analyze data trends, and create visual presentations for consistent reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage metrics and generate daily reports for business standups.
- Execute product resolution tasks by working with leads and SOPs/documentation.
- Perform root cause analysis using tools like fish bone diagrams.
- Conduct data entry, collection, and analysis, focusing on inconsistencies.
- Physically handle materials, processing them through ERP systems.
- Assist other areas in processing materials.
- Enter and pull data from systems, investigating discrepancies between digital and physical inventory.
- Present data trends using pivot tables and graphs to highlight consistencies or inconsistencies over time.
Essential Skills
- 1+ year of experience with process audits, fish bone diagrams, and root cause analysis.
- Proven problem-solving skills using 5 Why's, Fishbone diagram, or similar.
- Ability to audit processes, SOPs, and personnel.
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, warehouse, supply chain, or waste management.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and formula creation.
- Experience with SQL ground-up applications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience converting raw data into graphs and pivot tables.
- Comfort with using alternative tools like Quip or Smartsheet for data management.
- Proven ability to perform continuous maintenance of code in Redshift.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to double/triple-checking work.
- Flexible on degree requirements.
Work Environment
This position operates within a warehouse environment, requiring comfort with non-traditional corporate settings. The role is based in Kirkland, WA, and adheres to a general schedule of Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm, with flexibility for potential weekend work and overtime.
