Our client in Seattle, WA location is currently hiring for a Revit Drafter. This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity and will be a hybrid role, requiring at least 3 days onsite per week. This role supports mechanical piping and plumbing projects and offers full-cycle involvement in detailed and technical work within a growing team environment.
Pay - $26.00 – $34.00 per hour (Depending on years of experience, Revit proficiency, and mechanical/plumbing project exposure)
Location - Seattle, WA (Hybrid: minimum 3 days onsite)
Schedule - Standard Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
(Responsibilities)
• Develop detailed designs and layouts for mechanical piping and plumbing systems using Revit
• Interpret project specifications, blueprints, and contract drawings to create accurate technical drawings
• Create spool drawings and installation drawings
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project team members to meet project requirements and standards
• Conduct site visits to document existing conditions for accurate piping layouts
• Assist with material take-offs and bills of material
• Participate in design and coordination review meetings and incorporate revisions
• Provide drafting and modeling support for Engineering and VCS departments
• Set up and process 3D referenced models for coordination
• Annotate and prepare shop drawings for A/E review through IFC
• Maintain awareness of evolving tools, technologies, and drafting standards
(Qualification Requirements)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience using Revit for drafting and modeling
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical or plumbing systems
• Strong understanding of mechanical piping and plumbing construction methods
• Ability to create spool and installation drawings
• Experience with Bluebeam
• Mechanical degree desired
• Ability to read and interpret contract drawings
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
(Disqualifiers)
• Less than 3 years of Revit experience
• No mechanical or plumbing project experience
• Inability to produce spool or installation drawings

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.
