Position: Warehouse Order Picker
Overview
We’re looking for a skilled Order Picker to join our team. This role requires operating a cherry picker and working comfortably at elevated heights. You’ll be responsible for handling inventory and ensuring accurate order fulfillment—without using a sit-down forklift.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload goods from trailers or containers.
- Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Move inventory between areas as directed by supervisors.
- Pick and prepare orders accurately for scheduled shipments.
- Operate warehouse equipment following safety guidelines and standard procedures.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and maintain compliance with MSDS standards.
- Perform routine equipment checks and minor maintenance daily.
- Keep work areas clean and organized at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience operating a cherry picker.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- 2–5 years of recent warehouse or related experience.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift operation experience.
- Familiarity with inventory control and material handling.
- General warehouse labor background.
- Proficiency with RF scanners.
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and order-picking processes.
- Experience with reach lifts and counterbalance equipment.
- Self-motivated with excellent customer service skills.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Puyallup, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
