Cherry Picker Operator

Position: Warehouse Order Picker

Overview

We’re looking for a skilled Order Picker to join our team. This role requires operating a cherry picker and working comfortably at elevated heights. You’ll be responsible for handling inventory and ensuring accurate order fulfillment—without using a sit-down forklift.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload goods from trailers or containers.
• Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations.
• Move inventory between areas as directed by supervisors.
• Pick and prepare orders accurately for scheduled shipments.
• Operate warehouse equipment following safety guidelines and standard procedures.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and maintain compliance with MSDS standards.
• Perform routine equipment checks and minor maintenance daily.
• Keep work areas clean and organized at all times.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of warehouse operations.

Required Skills

• Proven experience operating a cherry picker.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• 2–5 years of recent warehouse or related experience.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience.
• Familiarity with inventory control and material handling.
• General warehouse labor background.
• Proficiency with RF scanners.
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and order-picking processes.
• Experience with reach lifts and counterbalance equipment.
• Self-motivated with excellent customer service skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Puyallup, WA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
