Administrative Assistant (Contract)

Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.

Summary:

This position provides critical high-level administrative support to leadership and their teams by managing complex schedules, coordinating travel and expenses, and serving as a central point of contact for information and communication needs. The role requires exceptional organizational abilities and the capacity to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Acting as a key liaison between leadership, team members, and cross-functional partners, this individual will proactively anticipate needs, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure smooth daily operations. The position demands someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can adapt quickly to changing priorities, and demonstrates sound judgment when managing sensitive information and competing demands

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex calendar scheduling, expense reporting, and travel arrangements for executive leadership
  • Triage and resolve team support requests including technology needs, operational questions, and work-related issues
  • Coordinate office moves, team morale initiatives, professional development activities, training sessions, and organizational events
  • Collaborate with administrative professionals and staff across the organization to share updates and best practices
  • Supervise general office operations including supply ordering, records management, and basic bookkeeping functions
  • Review and process invoices, reports, memos, correspondence, and financial statements
  • Analyze incoming communications and submissions to determine priority and appropriate distribution
  • Prepare meeting agendas and coordinate logistics for committees, boards, and other gatherings
  • Plan and execute divisional events that support team engagement and organizational objectives
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Business Support professional, or Executive Assistant within the past 5 years
  • Experience supporting large-scale teams of 100 or more people
  • Proven track record supporting executive-level leadership with calendar management, travel coordination, and expense processing
  • Background working within the technology industry supporting medium to large organizations within the past 10 years
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities with strong interpersonal skills
  • Advanced organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated capability to work independently and exercise sound time management
  • Strong discretion and ability to maintain confidential information
  • Excellent event planning and coordination capabilities
  • Leadership and mentoring abilities to provide support and constructive feedback to others
  • Customer service orientation with problem-solving aptitude
  • Detail-oriented approach with ability to deliver results under time constraints and with limited resources
Additional Details:
  • Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
  • Duration: 7 months
  • Pay Range*: $32.50 - $37 per hour
  • Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
  • Job Status: Non-Exempt
