Job Title: Journeyman Electrician – Day and Night Shift
Job Description
The Journeyman Electrician – Night Shift installs and roughs in electrical cable and related systems across multiple active job sites during overnight hours. This role focuses on safe, efficient electrical work in an industrial and construction environment, ensuring all installations meet project specifications and applicable standards.
Responsibilities
- Rough in electrical cable on two active job sites during the night shift, following project plans and specifications.
- Install, route, and secure conduit and wiring to support new electrical systems and equipment.
- Perform conduit bending to required angles and configurations to fit site conditions and layout requirements.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, strip, terminate, and secure electrical components.
- Assist with industrial electrical installations, including running cable, mounting boxes, and preparing systems for final connections.
- Troubleshoot basic electrical issues as they arise and help identify practical solutions in coordination with site leadership.
- Follow directions accurately from supervisors and lead electricians to complete tasks in the correct sequence and to quality standards.
- Ask clarifying questions when instructions or plans are unclear to ensure safe and correct execution of work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are stored safely.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, site rules, and industry best practices throughout every phase of the work.
- Arrive reliably and on time for all scheduled night shifts to support project timelines and crew coordination.
Essential Skills
- Journeyman-level electrical experience with hands-on work in construction or industrial environments.
- Proficiency in installing and roughing in electrical cable on active job sites.
- Ability to install and route conduit and wiring according to plans and site conditions.
- Skilled in conduit bending to precise angles and measurements.
- Experience using common electrical hand tools and related construction tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform basic electrical troubleshooting on installed wiring and components.
- Capability to work independently on assigned tasks while also collaborating effectively with a crew.
- Strong reliability with a consistent record of showing up on time for scheduled shifts.
- Ability to follow detailed directions and work within established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Willingness to ask questions and seek clarification when instructions or plans are not fully understood.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working on multiple job sites and adjusting to different site layouts and conditions.
- Comfort working on a dedicated night shift schedule.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and team members.
- Attention to detail in routing, securing, and labeling cable and conduit.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
