Summary:
This position offers the opportunity to lead and own end-to-end project management for a critical IT operations program focused on breakfix prioritization and data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will serve as the central driver of prioritization change management, working at the intersection of engineering, data science, and operations to ensure consistent, reliable, and scalable workflows. This role requires initiating project kickoffs, defining scope and success criteria, managing comprehensive project plans, and navigating complex deliverables, risks, and escalations. The position demands close partnership with engineering and data teams to automate and scale prioritization workflows while maintaining operational soundness. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who can ramp up quickly, operate independently, and drive effective prioritization changes that directly impact operational efficiency and service delivery.

Job Responsibilities:
- Own day-to-day execution and ongoing maturity of the breakfix prioritization program
- Lead prioritization rule changes from initiation through closure, including intake, assessment, approval, implementation, and release
- Coordinate prioritization simulations to evaluate impact on ticket volumes, priority buckets, service level agreements, and operational workload
- Manage program cadence, milestones, risks, dependencies, and cross-team coordination
- Partner with engineering teams to improve automation, tooling, and scalability of prioritization logic and workflows
- Define and manage test plans to ensure prioritization logic changes are accurate, complete, and operationally safe
- Generate before and after simulations to evaluate proposed prioritization changes
- Facilitate structured review and validation sessions with internal and partner teams to confirm results meet expected outcomes
- Develop rollout plans, release communications, and operational guidance for downstream teams
- Maintain and evolve core program documentation, including program charter and supporting artifacts
- Provide regular program updates, metrics, and insights aligned to established business rhythms
- Present prioritization outcomes, risks, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate delivery or operational risks
- Handle prioritization-related escalations, manual prioritization exceptions, and urgent requests
- Review key metrics and impact assessments to validate outcomes, inform trade-offs, and support recommendations
- Drive continuous improvements to intake, delivery cadence, and overall program maturity
- Five to seven years of project or program management experience supporting technology or operations-driven programs
- Three to five years of practical experience in IT breakfix operations, datacenter workflows, or large-scale operational environments
- Three to five years of experience in process, documentation, and governance development
- Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in large-scale environments
- Hands-on ownership of change requests, release planning, and delivery in operational environments
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent experience
- PMP, PMI, or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong project and program management capabilities with proven ability to plan, execute, and track complex initiatives end-to-end
- Advanced analytical skills with ability to interpret data, simulations, and operational metrics
- Expertise in managing scope, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and escalations
- Strong understanding of IT operations, breakfix workflows, ticketing systems, and escalation management
- Experience with prioritization processes and balancing operational urgency, service level agreements, and capacity constraints
- Ability to create and maintain comprehensive program documentation, process definitions, and governance artifacts
- Proven capability to design, standardize, and improve workflows that support operational consistency and scalability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous problem spaces by learning quickly, adapting to change, and exercising sound judgment
- Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-changing operational contexts
- Experience partnering with engineering teams on automation, rule-based logic, or tooling development
- Familiarity with data analysis, dashboards, or query-based decision support

- Pay Range*: $52.50 - $59.50
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
