Job Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize financial data and enable real-time budget tracking
- Audit spending data within dashboard tools and perform ongoing updates as necessary
- Set up and manage dashboard permissions to ensure budget owners have appropriate access to their respective budgets
- Conduct final data validation to ensure accuracy of financial reporting
- Process budget reclasses, journal entries, and accruals as needed
- Close purchase order milestones and purchase orders in a timely manner
- Process budget requests from the Finance Controller
- Identify areas of concern to proactively address budget variances from forecast
- Conduct monthly reviews and consolidate findings to inform executive communications
- Manage monthly communications to drive timely invoice approvals and accruals
- Track discretionary, external resource, and Azure consumption budgets on a day-to-day basis
- Automate existing spreadsheet-based processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Build simple agents to streamline information retrieval and centralize policy access
- Set up and maintain SharePoint sites, including organizing and cleaning up documentation
- Document financial policies and procedures to improve accessibility and compliance
- Drive budget management content creation and readiness training related to finance tools, policies, compliance, forecasting, and processes
- 2-4 years of experience in financial management and analysis
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience building Power BI dashboards
- 2-4 years of experience developing agents that leverage Power BI or similar platforms
- Prior experience working as a contractor is highly preferred
- Demonstrated track record of automating financial processes and building efficiency tools
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required
- Advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI dashboard development and data visualization
- Experience building agents that leverage Power BI or other automation platforms
- Strong financial management and analysis capabilities
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data manipulation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint management
- Knowledge of financial software and enterprise resource planning systems
- Location: Remote
- Duration: 6 months
- Pay Range*: $45.50 - $51.50 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
