Job Description

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Machine Operator Assistants. Responsibilities

• Learn to safely and efficiently operate various pieces of converting equipment.
• Effectively learn and apply established quality control procedures.
• Execute position responsibilities as they pertain to the assigned work center.
• Read and follow order specification documents.
• Develop or enhance skill set consistently.
• Work effectively with co-workers and establish a team approach to achieve company goals.
• Follow all company rules and policies.
• Work successfully in multiple areas of the converting plant and perform to expectations.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and write English.
• Mechanically inclined and able to learn new skills within a standard timeline.
• Comfortable around heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform mentally and physically at a high pace with a sense of urgency.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic math knowledge and ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to work overtime.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Work Environment

Work in a large facility that may become hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Shifts include Day Shift from 5 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and Swing Shift from 3:30 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Thursday. Occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays and potentially on weekends. The facility includes state-of-the-art equipment such as a 112” Multiflute Corrugator, Rotary Die Cutters, Flexo Folder Gluers, and more.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Renton, WA.

The pay range for this position is $24.30 - $24.30/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Renton,WA.
