Job Description
Hiring for an innovative music industry team that collaborates with record labels, artists, and managers to enhance content, promotion, and fan engagement. This role combines support responsibilities with the opportunity to work on various projects across different sub-teams. The position requires regular communication with internal and external partners, making it ideal for those seeking music industry experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate meeting agenda inputs, take meeting notes, and summarize action items.
- Fulfill administrative tasks such as invoice tracking, payments, and contracting.
- Conduct outreach to labels for follow-ups and collection of assets and deliverables.
- Track artist partnerships, out-of-home advertising, and social media presence.
- Create, review, and update project and campaign trackers.
- Conduct research projects and audits as directed by the team.
- Create campaign decks and gather necessary inputs.
- Coordinate setup and preparation for artist meetings and visits.
- Provide project-based support, including budgets, event management, newsletters, and database management.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in a related program.
- Basic technical skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Strong interest in music and the music industry.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Available to complete a 12-month internship, working at least 3 days a week.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in the music industry, with music labels, big tech companies, streaming services, or social media companies like Meta or TikTok.
- MBA preferred.
- Experience is a plus but not required.
Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring at least 3 days in the office per week, ideally between 9 AM and 5 PM. Work hours may vary weekly, ranging from 15 to 40 hours, with a minimum commitment of 2 days per week. The role is flexible around school schedules and offers the opportunity to work full-time during school breaks. The office is located in Seattle, WA, and candidates will benefit from being with the team to gain valuable experience. The role supports the country music team and artist relations.
