Job Title: Shipyard LaborersJob Description

We are looking for dedicated Shipyard Laborers to provide general labor support for the USS Gabby Gifford. This role requires individuals who are physically capable and have prior shipyard experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide general labor support for shipyard operations.
  • Assist with various tasks as a Trades Assistant.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a shipyard environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Possession of a DBIDS/Green badge.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in general labor support.
  • Understanding of shipyard operations and protocols.

Work Environment

The role takes place in a shipyard setting. All necessary personal protective equipment, including hard hats and safety glasses, will be provided. Steel toe boots are required. The work environment emphasizes safety with orientations provided before starting work.

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
