Job Title: Construction Project Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the development, renovation, and expansion of Fulfillment Centers across the United States. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive project success from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects including new builds, renovations, and expansions of Fulfillment Centers nationwide.
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle—from design and planning to implementation and operational handoff.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment and execution.
- Negotiate and manage contracts related to construction, procurement, and labor.
- Ensure effective communication of project goals, timelines, and requirements to diverse audiences.
- Supervise facilities management activities including design reviews, implementation, and ongoing project controls.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects using strong program management methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- At least 7 years of end-to-end project management experience, including design, implementation, and operations.
- Proven experience negotiating construction, procurement, and labor contracts.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, and project scheduling tools such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in at least two construction industry disciplines (e.g., General Contracting, Owner’s Representation, Commercial Development, Engineering & Design).
- Project Management certification (PMP® or equivalent).
- Experience in facilities management or similar operational roles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences.
Work Environment
- This is a remote position with 50–80% travel required to project sites across the West Coast, Central, and East Coast regions of the U.S.
- Travel includes site inspections, stakeholder meetings, and on-site project oversight.
