[Job Description]
A globally recognized eCommerce company based in Seattle, WA is currently hiring for a remote Catalog Specialist / Merchandising Specialist. This position will be working on various tasks that are assigned by the internal product managers. This position will be working on ensuring the customer experience through their 3P Businesses is set up well through various data quality, improvement, cataloging, pulling reports, and more.
The role of the variable resources will be to manage the day-to-day operations of the data quality program which involves responsibilities such as pulling reports, reviewing selection and policy, cataloging into groups, sharing summary reports, and maintaining communication with vendors, and curating content for seller-side experiments.
A successful candidate will either have current or recent project coordinator, catalog specialist, and/or merchandising specialist job titles, be a strong self-starter who is communicative, be able to work through ambiguity while asking the right questions and reaching out for support, be comfortable working through task completion environment, and someone who can obtain information independently as needed.
Pay - $24/hr. (Max and Final Rate)
Contract Duration - 6 Months To Start
Location - Fully Remote, but must be based in Washington State (Local to Seattle, the better)

[Responsibilities]
- Reporting: Ensuring learnings are measurable and shared is a top priority. The resource(s) will be responsible for pulling reports, analyzing, organizing the data, and sharing a summary of findings with the team.
- Data curation: The resource(s) are responsible for curating content for experiments that span across the SX/CX. This includes setting up content and ensuring the quality of content is maintained.
- Selling Partner Communication: Effective communication with Selling Partners is crucial. The resource(s) will address create seller communications and best practices and help answer any questions or concerns to ensure the data quality bar is upheld and operationalized.
- Quality Assurance: Maintaining a high quality of customizations is vital. The resources(s) will implement quality control measures, review policies and content for accuracy, and provide feedback to the team for improvement.
- Task Management: Efficiently managing the workflow of data quality. This includes setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion.
- Issue Resolution: When issues or discrepancies arise during the audit and curation process, the resource(s) are responsible for resolving them promptly and effectively.
- Documentation: Keeping detailed records of the program's progress, expenses, and any issues encountered is important for project transparency and future reference.
[Qualification Requirements]
- 1-3 years of experience within the following job titles or relevant: (Project Specialist, Project Coordinator, Catalog Specialist, Merchandising Specialist).
- Must be a self-starter (very important) and take initiative to reach out for support when needed.
- Experience handling a high volume of reporting.
- Experience and/or understanding of SQL Queries is a nice to have, but not required.
- Strong communicator (with both internal stakeholders and internal parties).
- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
- Comfortable obtaining and generating data as needd.
