Job Description
We’re hiring Certified Medical Assistants (MA-C) to support a large, mission-driven healthcare network's outpatient clinics across the Cherry Hill, First Hill, Beacon Hill, and Northgate neighborhoods of Seattle with providing essential support to physicians and healthcare providers. You will perform both
administrative and clinical tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of patient scheduling, medical records maintenance, and assisting with examinations and procedures. With multiple openings across various sites and specialties, this is a great opportunity to find a role that fits your experience and interests with the potential for permanent placement after the first 13-week contract.
Specialties include:
Primary Care, Family Medicine, Cardiology, Pulmonary, Dermatology, ENT, Urology, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery/ Spine, OBGYN, Oncology, Urology, Urgent Care, Otolaryngology (ENT), Float Pool, and more.
Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient care and clinical tasks
- Support patient care in outpatient settings
- Perform routine procedures such as taking vitals, prepping patients, and setting up exam rooms
- Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Deliver excellent patient care and customer service
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
- Travel between clinics as required (floating expectations vary by role)
Essential Skills
- MA-C credential through WA DOH
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid WA MA license (local candidates only)
- Proficiency in EPIC charting system preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of experience preferred (required for some specialties such as Cardiology, ENT, Ortho, Dermatology)
- Must reside within 50 miles of the assigned site
- Reliable transportation for travel between clinics if requested for position and ability adapt to different work environments
Work Environment
Work in a variety of shifts, primarily 5x8 hours, starting between 7:30 am, to 8:30 am, ending between 4:30pm and 5:30 pm. Some 4x10s available. Floating expectations vary by role. Enjoy a supportive work environment with no weekend or on-call duties, and the opportunity to travel between clinics.
