Description
• Uphold and actively promote the bank’s core beliefs, core values, and customer service standards.
• Develop and manage highly functioning team(s) of commercial bankers. Develop business plans and provide coaching, training, and guidance to bankers to set them up for success in achieving their respective professional development and sales goals. Administer performance reviews, provide constructive feedback and direction, and take appropriate action to ensure that bank division and market objectives are met.
• Achieve commercial loan growth, deposit growth, and profitability objectives for the Inland Northwest market. The Regional Market President may carry a customer portfolio as necessary to support the achievement of the bank division goals.
• Coordinate with retail banking, consumer lending, mortgage, and treasury management departments to establish and execute strategies to cross-sell products within the market and promote the success of the bank.
• Uphold and maintain the credit quality of the commercial loan portfolio, ensuring loans are underwritten and serviced in compliance with the bank’s credit policy and minimizing policy exceptions, delinquencies, adversely graded credits, and charge offs.
• Represent the bank in a professional and ethical manner to promote the bank in the market. Take an active role in community events and organizations to promote the bank and its strategic objectives.
• Participate as a member of the bank’s executive management group. Communicate regularly with senior management and other market presidents to share best practices, business plans, financial performance, progress toward goals, market updates, and recommendations for improvement.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
• Must be willing and able to travel frequently within market and occasionally out of market to meet with clients, referral sources, bankers, management, and other business partners as necessary to achieve objectives.
• Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited college or university
• A minimum of ten years of commercial lending experience including time spent in preparatory positions.
• Prior experience successfully leading a business banking team of commercial lenders and/or relationship managers.
