Description
As an HR Specialist you will be an integral part of our clients Human Resources team, you will report directly to the HR Manager and play a hands-on role in supporting team operations and strengthening organizational culture. This position demands a high level of confidentiality, precision, and interpersonal sensitivity.
- Foster positive team member experiences through daily interactions
- Assist in onboarding, training coordination, and employee orientation
- Process payroll accurately and on time
- Schedule interviews and support recruitment efforts
- Maintain and update employee data within ADP systems
- Collaborate closely with HR colleagues to address evolving business needs

- Onboarding & Team Member Support
- Manage all aspects of onboarding for new and contract Team Members
- Coordinate recruiting efforts and candidate communications
- Enter and maintain employee data in the HRIS (ADP) system
- Facilitate orientation sessions
- Set up timeclock profiles and create Team Member badges
- Assist with initial benefits enrollment
- Training & Compliance
- Track and maintain compliance training records via the QT9 system
- Ensure accurate Team Member profile setups
- Payroll Support
- Reconcile time and attendance records
- Monitor and document fringe benefit usage
- HR Program Administration
- Assist in compensation, benefits, and leave management
- Support disciplinary procedures and investigations
- Facilitate performance and talent development processes
- Contribute to employee recognition, morale initiatives, and training programs
- Employee Relations & Engagement
- Provide professional and courteous HR support to Team Members
- Escalate complex employee relations issues appropriately
- Help plan and coordinate company events, open enrollment, job fairs, and departmental meetings
- Safety & Administrative Support
- Serve as backup to the HR/Safety Manager in safety-related responsibilities
- Perform general filing, documentation, and other HR admin duties
