General Production Worker

As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients for dumpling and food production. You must ensure the proper sanitization and organization of tools and equipment in compliance with USDA standards, and adhere to company standard operating procedures regarding human and food safety, as well as quality assurance. You will operate machinery to prepare soup dumplings and other food items, and work both as part of a team during production and independently during preparation tasks. The work schedule may vary and include weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by business needs. Attendance is crucial in this role.

• Prepare ingredients for dumpling and food production.
• Ensure proper sanitization and organization of tools and equipment to USDA standards.
• Adhere to company standard operating procedures for human and food safety and quality assurance.
• Operate machinery to prepare soup dumplings and other food items.
• Work collaboratively during production and independently during preparation tasks.

• Experience in large-scale food preparation with associated culinary and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment requiring strict adherence to procedures.

• Capability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.

• Open to working at any station as needed.
• Willingness to rotate stations based on daily requirements.

The work environment can vary in temperature by area, so employees should be prepared to wear layers. Floors and work areas may be wet, and clothing and footwear may get wet or dirty during production and sanitation activities. Employees are expected to follow strict hygiene and safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment such as hair nets, lab coats, gloves, and earplugs. The dress code requires clean clothes, no fuzzy clothing or shorts, closed-toe shoes, and no fragrances, jewelry, or removable cosmetics.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sumner, WA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
