Job Title: Production Planner

Job Description

Play a critical role in ensuring a smooth workflow across the shop floor. This position is responsible for coordinating materials, monitoring production schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of parts and assemblies. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production schedules to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Monitor material flow and expedite parts through various stages of machining and assembly.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve delays or shortages.
• Review and interpret blueprints/drawings to verify accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Ensure adherence to ISO standards and company quality requirements.
• Update and maintain records in shop management systems (E2 experience preferred).
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce lead times.

Essential Skills

• Expediting materials.
• Aerospace industry experience required.
• Production planning.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and compliance practices.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints/drawings.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an expediter or production control role.

• Aerospace industry experience required.

• Familiarity with ISO standards and compliance practices.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints/drawings.

• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

• E2 software experience is a strong plus.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic environment with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. This role offers a competitive pay structure, with earnings up to $30 per hour depending on experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tacoma, WA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
