We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. This role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, splitting time between completing deliveries and warehouse tasks. Each day presents new challenges with varying shipments and customer orders. The ideal candidate is someone who excels both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a strong work ethic and initiative.
Responsibilities- Operate a motor vehicle legally and maintain a driving record that meets company standards.
- Load and unload order fulfillment materials onto trucks for delivery.
- Communicate any vehicle mechanical issues to your supervisor.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance.
- Promptly and professionally deliver/pick up merchandise to/from customers and suppliers.
- Pick up materials from vendors and receive incoming freight.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Stock materials on shelves and pick orders.
- Process returns from customers and to vendors.
- Operate a Microsoft-based computer system.
- Take walk-in customer orders in person or over the phone.
- Build familiarity and rapport with new and returning customers.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving history.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle customer interactions professionally.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Basic mechanical skills and willingness to learn industry-specific tasks.
- Ability to squat, kneel, bend, twist, and work on concrete floors throughout the shift.
- Capability to climb ladders for material retrieval.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to operate a forklift (training provided).
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Experience in driving flatbed and box trucks.
- Familiarity with inventory management and material handling.
- Experience using RF scanners.

Work EnvironmentWork in a warehouse setting with a Monday to Friday schedule, from 6 am to 3 pm. The role requires physical activity such as lifting, climbing, and working on concrete floors for the entire shift. Training for operating a forklift will be provided. Dress comfortably to meet the demands of a hands-on, active work environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tacoma, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
