Job Title: Belt Technician

Job Description

As a Belt Technician, you will be responsible for customizing heavy duty belts and rubber components to meet customer specifications. This role involves working both in-house and at customer sites, and requires a hands-on approach to ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to company success. You will receive ongoing training and support to achieve both personal and company goals.

Responsibilities

• Customize heavy duty belts and rubber components according to customer specifications.
• Perform installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance duties.
• Work both individually and as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Utilize hand and shop tools for fabrication and assembly tasks.
• Manage shipping and receiving operations.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of proven experience in field service work, maintenance, or other hands-on work.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proper use of English and grammar.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in heights and tight spaces.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Organization and prioritization skills with attention to detail.

Work Environment

The role involves working both in-house and at customer sites. You will use various hand and shop tools to perform your duties. The position requires physical activity, including lifting heavy objects and working at heights or in confined spaces.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Appleton, WI.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
