Production Worker

Job Description

As a Production Worker, you will be assisting with a variety of duties including assisting with assembling products, operating saws and drill presses, grinding and deburring metal materials, using various power tools, and inspecting finished work. In addition to this, you could be asked to assist with shipping tasks and using overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials throughout the shop.

Responsibilities

• Work from blueprints and written instructions
• Complete mechanical assembly of bins, containers, and machinery
• Operate a variety of fabrication equipment and machinery
• Utilize a variety of hand, air, and power tools
• Debur parts using hand grinders.

Essential Skills

• Prior experience in construction, mechanic, assembly, or metal fabrication preferred
• Comfortable using a tape measure
• Comfortable using hand and power tools

Work Environment

The work environment includes a well-equipped metal fabricating shop, offering 1st shift. The 1st shift runs from 6:00AM to 3:30PM Monday through Thursday with a half-day Friday.

This is a Permanent position based out of Appleton, WI.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
