Join our dynamic team working on new construction job sites, focusing primarily on residential projects with a mix of small commercial jobs. You will be involved in assisting with new builds, specializing in finish carpentry and concrete work. The role requires working with both hand and power tools, preparing job sites, and collaborating with experienced colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Assist with new builds in finish carpentry and concrete work.
- Prepare job sites for construction activities.
- Operate hand and power tools effectively.
- Collaborate with tenured employees to enhance skills in carpentry and concrete roles.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of lead experience in carpentry or concrete.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly for up to 10 hours daily.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in waterproofing.
- General construction and labor skills.

Work Environment
You will be working outdoors on new construction sites, exposed to all types of weather conditions. The work can be physically demanding and requires proper attire, including pants, steel-toe boots, and shirts with sleeves. Personal protective equipment such as hard hats and visibility gear is mandatory. Team sizes vary depending on the project and can range from 4 to 10 people.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baraboo, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $30.00/hr.
