Job Description
This commercial finishing carpenter role supports a specialty services division that delivers remodels, new construction, and expansions across sectors such as food and dairy, healthcare, education, and light industrial. You will work on a wide variety of projects rather than staying on a single long-term assignment, using your carpentry expertise to complete high-quality work from rough framing through detailed finish work while helping maintain safe, organized job sites and supporting the development of future apprentices.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of commercial carpentry tasks, including framing, drywall installation, and finish carpentry.
- Complete high-quality finish work such as trim, casework, and detailed woodwork to meet project specifications.
- Execute caulking, construction painting, and fixture installation in accordance with project requirements.
- Form and prepare concrete for foundations and other structural elements as needed.
- Install various types of flooring and fabricate custom woodwork for commercial environments.
- Participate in restoration projects, helping to repair and revitalize existing structures.
- Lift, move, and position materials and equipment safely on the job site.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Roofing experience is a plus.
- Experience with construction painting, caulking, and sealing is beneficial.
- Experience in restoration work or building repairs.
This is a Permanent position based out of Beaver Dam, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
