Welder

Join a dynamic team focused on manufacturing high-quality trailers for both military and commercial applications. This role involves precise fitting of parts to specifications and performing MIG welding using detailed weld symbols. Successful candidates will contribute to a long-term project stretching into 2035, ensuring high standards of quality for the Department of Defense.

• Fit parts to print specifications using MIG welding techniques.
• Utilize weld symbols on drawings for accurate assembly.
• Perform quality checks with precision tools including micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
• Use grinders or sanders to smooth welds as necessary.
• Ensure all welds pass inspection by quality inspectors before dispatch.
• Obtain certification upon hire to commence welding on parts.
• Maintain strict adherence to quality standards for Department of Defense requirements.

• Minimum of 2 years of MIG welding experience on mild steel.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Proficient in MIG welding techniques.

• Experience with TIG welding.
• Familiarity with working on aluminum materials.

Work in a small town setting with a friendly culture, surrounded by a team of farmers and former farmers. The facility comprises two buildings; the older building handles steel welding and is equipped for raw material processing, while the newer, cleaner building focuses on assembly, painting, and TIG/aluminum welding. The environment can be somewhat loud, and shifts are from 6am-4pm Monday through Thursday, with additional hours on Friday.

This is a Permanent position based out of Clintonville, WI.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
